In short, this is the best driver I ve ever used. The shaft and head combination is amazing.
Shots go exactly where you tell them to go. High draw, no problem; low stinger, you got it; oops I didn t mean to hit a fade into that lake, too bad. Not the most forgiving as far as direction but the hyberbolic cup face keeps the distance penalty to a surprising minimum. This is great for those who can control their shots but could spell trouble for those who can t errant shots go further into trouble.
Feedback is very good. I know where I made contact thanks to feedback from the grip and a muted sound thanks to the carbon fiber body. Very soft feeling for a driver. Pured shots almost feel forged. Good flight. If you tend to hit high, this club will lower your ball flight. The ball will just cut through the wind.
Again, awesome club but definitely for better players.

First day i used i hit a 350 yd drive i was like wow. Went from a stiff shaft to a x-stiff with the ft-tour and it feels amazing

I would buy this product again and again
This shaft is as stiff as a piece of steel, but if your swing speed is up there, boom out of here. It is so stiff that without my golf glove I can t keep it from moving in my hands. Great Driver shaft combo. I am back up to 330 yard drives with this club, I was down to 300 with my old FT-3 w/ 757 Speeder and thought it was just cause I was getting old.

Bit Heavy but Wow.
Bought the FT-Tour after much consideration and having tried the FT-9. The FT-9 was more forgiving and I needed the draw, however, after playing the Tour along with my new Cobra irons, my game is GAME.I get great distance when I hit the ball right and this club 8.5 forces me to concentate more off the drive, which I needed. I was tired of coming up short on my drives and second 3 wood. This summer I won two tournaments, and cut my handicap in halfThanks Callaway.. The club is a bit heavy, but this also forces me to swing a little slower and straigher

Huge off the tee. A well hit drive with the Stiff flex shaft and mid to high swing speed is very capable of 300 yard drives landing in the fairway. Makes the iron shot into the green much easier with a 9 iron rather than a 6 iron. Should lower your handicap several strokes if you have the right swing speed.

Great club but cracked after only 1.5 mo
The club cracked after only 1.5 months and 5 rounds. I read a similar post on here about the exact same thing happening so Im hoping I have a better experience with customer service then they did.On a positive note, I hit this club more accurately due to the x stiff shaft and farther then ever. I just hope Callaway steps up and replaces it asap.

Tried and true
I have been playing with driver for the past year. I ve made great progress improving my distance and accuracy. The club recently suffered stone damage from the local range that I won t be attending anymore. So I jumped on another great deal, and got the same club with an upgraded shaft. I m playing even longer and straighter. Even test driving the latest Big Bertha clubs didn t touch my FT.

driver was a good fit
Tried driver from a friend and hit it well. Went home pull up web site and found driver. Could not believe price, went ahead and bought it. Figured for 39 how could I go wrong, plus it came with a brand new headcover worth 14.95.
